I may not have visited all the places in Italy. However, I certainly have some favorites between the destinations in Italy that I have visited.
Not only Italy offers so much in history, beauty and nature; the country without doubt has one of the best cuisines in the world. Anyway, I would now tell you about favorite trips in Italy.
Como (Lombardy)

Without second thought, I would confirm that it is definitely on my Italy favorite list. Not only the place is beautiful with gorgeous lake view, it was also the first destination in Italy that I visited when I arrived here.

Additionally, people can also go up to Brunate with funicular or take a ferry to Bellagio. Even better, they could also go to Switzerland as it is very near to Como. Visiting Como will be perfect for spring and summer.
Florence (Tuscany)

This city offers more than just a tourist destination. Being protected by UNESCO entirely, Florence provides you with its rich history, art and amazing museums.

In my opinion, the best time to visit it is either in autumn or spring as for summer, no matter it is crowded with tourists, the temperature could get too hot and make us hard to go around calmly.
Rome (Lazio)

Surely, the journey to Italy would never be perfect without a visit to Rome, where there is the Vatican City and its church plus museum where you can witness the elegance and perfection of Sistine Chapel.

In Rome, you can also enjoy the visit to Trevi Fountain where you can throw coins to expect coming back to Rome and the visit to Colosseum for the amazing history.
Verona (Veneto)

This is the perfect city for visitors who enjoy and admire Shakespeare and his masterpiece legendary story of Romeo and Juliet. In Verona, we could explore the entire legend of Romeo and Juliet.

Here, it is possible to visit La Casa Giulietta (Juliet’s house) and La Tomba di Giulietta (Juliet’s tomb believed to be hers). Coming to Verona would be good for spring escape.
Briefly, these are some of my memorable trips in beautiful Italy. Of course, the journey is not finished yet. I hope that I could add more to the list in the future.
I do not include Milan not for the fact that I think it is horrible for holiday destination but it is only for the fact I live here in the Province. This means I count it as my “second home” instead of holiday destination.

Milan surely belongs to the top list of Italian destinations and worldwide top cities for tourists, especially at this moment during the Universal Exposition, Expo 2015.
So what about you? Have you visited Italy and got your favorite moments in its cities? As summer is coming, now it will be the right moment to decide the 2015 holiday 🙂
