Bali – The Island of Gods – Pulau Dewata

Sunset in Bali

Who doesn’t know Bali? I think for beach lovers, this is one of the most wanted destinations to visit in life. Located in Indonesia, the Archipelago country, the island is recognized with the nickname “The Island of Gods” or Pulau Dewata in Indonesian word. Or, many people also know it as the romantic tourist destination for couples.

Having the majority of Hindu believers in the island, Bali is also famous for its temples after being well-known for its beaches. The island is also very famous as the international place composed of a lot of both the nationals and foreigners staying in the island.

Even often, from my personal experience, when I mention that I’m Indonesian to other people, the first thing that comes to their mind is Bali and its beautiful beaches. Many people around the globe comes to the island only to enjoy the beautiful sunrise, sunset, and relaxing sunbathing experience at the beaches.

There are so many places to visit in the island that I believe it should take at least two to three weeks to stay there in order to be satisfied at the end of the holiday. Famous beaches like Kuta, Legian, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Lovina (which is known for the dolphins) and beautiful Ubud plus the temples have made a lot of visitors to be in love with the island.

Not only visitors from neigbouring countries like Australia and other South East Asian countries, others from European continents and East Asian countries like from Japan, Korea, or China are also eager to spend hours of flight and money, just to be in Bali for their holiday.

If you love exotic places and warm holiday, this would be perfect and too beautiful to skip.
