I published earlier about the most Italian Christmas Cake called Panettone that can be varied with various fillings such as fruit pieces, raisins, and many other things else, even a creamy and lovely Pistachio cream.
Now, I’d like to introduce you the other type of Christmas cake that’s just as famous as Panettone. This Christmas cake is called Pandoro. Even if it looks similar with Panettone, it actually has a clear difference as Pandoro is simply plain without any type of fillings inside.
The other clear difference that we can see is that it is usually added with powdered white sugar to cover it, making it yummy and “sweet” for the Christmas. Just like Panettone, Pandoro is also a type of Italian Christmas cake that shouldn’t be missed around Christmas time.
