Rules in Paying for Online Streaming Services

Nowadays, online streaming websites for both video and audio are very common on the internet. Some allow us to access their files for free but, there are also some who don’t and require payment instead. So the question is, “Will we pay for online streaming?”

For sure some of us will pay to be able to watch our favourite shows or listen to our favourite songs online. However, there are also many of us who won’t. Whichever our choice is, usually when we are eager to pay for online streaming, there are some set of rules for the payment.

How Are We Going to Pay?

Mostly, there are two types of payment that are acceptable for online streaming services. We can either pay with our credit cards or pay with PayPal accounts if we have one.

Credit card transactions are believed to be the easiest way for paying the online streaming websites. However, not all of us are willing to entrust our credit card numbers online. Thus, if we fear that our credit card numbers will be misused, we can always use the other alternative, PayPal account.

PayPal is a payment method that gives us full security protection with SSL for all types of online transactions. By using PayPal, our credit card numbers are securely protected and we don’t have to worry that our credit cards would be misused by irresponsible third parties.

So, it’s simple. If we still don’t have any account in PayPal, we can register for one in case we want to choose this payment method to pay the streaming services.

How Much Do We Have to Pay?

It depends. From YouTube that allows us to access all of its videos for free to those that require some dollars to spend to stream their files. And, the amount we have to spend also varies.

Some only want one time payment for a lifetime, usually at registration. Others want payment whenever we try to access (pay per use). It means that we have to pay every time we want to use the streaming services of the websites, either per visit or per file.

Besides, there are also some websites who allow streaming for free and require to pay only if we want to download their files. This condition maybe is intended for us who would like to test how good the quality of the files we want to download or to ensure the files downloaded are really the files we are meaning to download.

There are also some other websites who let us stream some files for free at first; but after few numbers of files streamed, we should pay regularly like once a month, once in every six months, or maybe once a year.

However, apart from all the talk about payment for streaming services above, no matter what the talk is, we can always decide on our own about either we want to pay for online streaming or to have it for free. We can also decide on how we want to pay the services or how much money we want to spend. Just decide it our own way.
